Brianna was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She has had a lifelong relationship with animals, and her passion began as soon as she could walk. As a young girl she would watch the neighborhood cats play for hours, and even managed to tame some of the feral kittens to help them find homes forever. As Brianna got older and was allowed to leave the block her house was on, she began catching and bringing home the lost dogs in the neighborhood. She was fearless and determined regardless of size and breed, and quickly learned she had a talent for being able to read a dog’s body language and understand what they were trying to communicate. At 16 years old Brianna started working with many foster organizations, and would mainly foster bully breed dogs in her home from the city’s high kill shelter. Many came to her with little to no training, as well as behavioral problems, but she managed to ensure they learned proper manners to find their forever homes. She fostered and saved over 50 dogs while working with the rescue. When she didn’t have a foster to care for she worked as a dog walker and in-home dog sitter. She always knew her true calling and passion were with dogs.
Shortly before turning 21, Brianna decided to attend Starmark Academy for Professional Dog Trainers. She learned hands-on how to train and handle different canines based on their behavior. She graduated and became certified as a Canine Trainer and Behavioral Specialist. After returning home she began working at one of the top dog training facilities in Chicago. Brianna has trained over 500 dogs mainly working with behavioral modification cases. She joined the Joint Forces K9 team to continue growing her knowledge on training dogs and pursue her life calling of helping dogs live happy and healthy life through training.
Hello, my name is Dylan. I was raised in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago. My family has always been dog people, having at least four dogs in the house while I was growing up. As a young man, I felt I had a duty to serve my country, so I joined the US Army Reserves. During that time, I also coached high school lacrosse and fell in love with my beautiful wife. My passion for dog training began around 2020 when I got Jefe, my Belgian Malinois. Ever since then, dog training has been my world. From obtaining my K9 instructor certification and attending seminars to helping train neighbors’ dogs, I have immersed myself in this field. It was time for me to take the next step in my dog training career, and that’s when I applied at Joint Forces K9. I knew it was a perfect fit.
Autumn moved to Arkansa from Chicago, Illinois in May 2022. She joined the Joint Forces K9 team as a kennel tech, having experience previously as one in Chicago, but also shadowed closely under the trainers. She first began working with several of the trainers to help address her Australian Cattle Dog, Rusty, behavioral issues. Rusty was a rescue who was both human and dog reactive, which stemmed from fear. After seeing the change in her dog’s confidence and temperament from consistently working with him, Autumn decided to begin studying how dogs learn to communicate better, with not only her personal dogs, but the ones she engaged with at work as well. Autumn was able to get hands-on experience with dogs of different breeds and temperament to apply what she had studied with the guidance of the Joint Forces Trainers.
After spending time under different trainers she developed her own way of training, and was promoted to dog trainer here at Joint Forces. Since being promoted she has trained dogs, not only in advanced obedience, but also scent work and agility. Autumn plans to contuine learning new ways of modern dog training as the industry grows, so she can make it a unique positive experience for each new furry friend!
Hello, my name is Brandon Shull and I am 28 years old. I am a Kennel Tech here at Joint Forces K9, but look forward to growing and expanding my knowledge for all different breeds of dogs! I was born in Joplin, MO and was raised in Missouri for most of my childhood. When I was about 10 years old my family moved from Missouri to Oklahoma to work at a poultry farm. My first pet dog was introduced to me when we moved to the farm. Ever since then I have always had a love for dogs!

Trevor is a native to Arkansas and has lived in the NWA area for the last few years. His love of dogs began at a young age while having two yellow labs, Duke and Daisy. He has had several breeds of dogs as pets sense then, but finds the working dogs especially interesting. Regardless of the size Trevor recognizes the important roles that dogs play in the life of a human. Whether it is a constant companion, working dog or service dog they each deserve the attention, love and training that brings out the best in each dog. Trevor hopes to apply this understanding by one day becoming a full time dog trainer.
